SAD from Italy are without question one of the hottest Live Rock’n’Roll Metallica tributes these days! With 110 million records sold, Metallica is certainly the most successful metal band of all. For many, many years the group from California has been enthroned at the top of Rock Olympus. Imitating Metallica in their sound and their show is certainly one of the hardest tasks a tribute band can face. And the southerners from SAD seem to master this brilliantly.
In 2007, SAD were named the best Metallica tribute band by "ZONAMETALLICA", the official Italian Metallica Fan Club. In 2008 the band received the accolade when they were recognized and authorized by Metallica's US fan club "METCLUB". Anyone who has ever experienced SAD live knows why!
